Mr. Kevin Smith
Mr. Smith is joining Guilford County Schools from Pitt County, where he has served as a principal for the last 11 years. Smith, an educator since 2000, has a bachelor of science degree in history, a master of school administration degree and an education specialist degree in education administration and supervision from East Carolina University.
Ms. Crystal Slade
After completing my Elementary Education degree from UNC-Charlotte, I started teaching in Yanceyville, NC (my hometown) as a first-grade teacher. After one year of teaching first grade, Iwas moved to third grade and remained a third-grade teacher for several years. I have taught in GCS at Monticello-Brown Summit Elementary with third and fifth grades and I worked as an assistant principal in a middle school in Salisbury.
I come to you from the GCS ACES program, I was the supervisor over the programming (curriculum) part for ACES.
